<p><u><font color="#000080">吉尔吉斯共和国位于中亚,北、西、南面分别同哈萨克斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦和塔吉克斯坦接壤,东南部与中国新疆为邻,首都为比什凯克。吉尔吉斯共和国的领土面积为19.85万平方公里,人口约530万,全国共有80多个民族,其中吉尔吉斯族占全国总人口的69.2%。</font></u>
<p><u><font color="#000080">吉尔吉斯共和国自然资源丰富,煤产量在中亚国家中首屈一指,被誉为“中亚煤斗”,锑产量居世界第三位,锡和汞的产量居独联体第二位,羊毛产量和水电资源在独联体国家中居第三位。</font></u>
<p><u><font color="#000080">自独立以来,吉尔吉斯共和国政治上推行民主改革,促进民族团结,致力于振兴经济、消除贫困、改善人民生活。经济上稳步渐进地向市场经济转轨,推行以私有化改造为中心的经济体制改革,经济保持增长。外交上奉行平衡、务实的政策,以邻国、周边国家为重点,优先方向是维护和保障国家主权和领土完整,为经济发展创造良好外部条件。</font></u>
<p><u><font color="#000080">2005年春天,吉尔吉斯共和国爆发“郁金香革命”,时任总统阿卡耶夫出走俄罗斯,时任总理塔纳耶夫宣布辞职。反对派领导人、前总理巴基耶夫随后出任总理并代行总统职务。同年7月,巴基耶夫当选新一届总统。此后反对派多次举行集会,要求巴基耶夫辞职并进行宪法改革。为此吉议会曾两度修改国家宪法,并多次改组政府。在2009年举行的总统选举中,巴基耶夫成功连任。</font></u></p>

刚看到马格南blog更新了一片文字，标题是On editorial responsibility
周三，在加沙冲突双方短暂的三小时停火中，休息中的以方士兵。
Alessandra Sanguinetti引用了这张纽约时报头版的照片，因为这张照片第一时间吸引他的是那种牧羊的感觉
而其实，这只不过是这场武装冲突，或者说是战争的一个侧面，就在同时，加沙的一处轰炸后的废墟下挖出了30具尸体，在这些尸体中还有4个依偎在死去的母亲身边的饥饿的孩子。
虽然以色列禁止所有外国记者进入加沙地区，但是肯定能找到关于那些情况的图片，正如我们可以在这里看到的一样。也许Alessandra Sanguinetti是挑剔的，但作为一份报纸最具影响力的头版图片，为什么编辑会选择这样一张浪漫的照片呢？这难道就是编辑的责任感所在吗？
